Sound HEALING

The art of healing with sound actually goes back more than 40,000 years. Almost every culture on every continent has used sound to heal in some way, whether it be the indigenous Australians or the Egyptians with their sound chambers.

Sound healing is the practice of using sound vibrations to relax your mind and body.

A cranial nerve connects the eardrum to every organ in the human body, minus the spleen, so externally generated sounds can have profound and direct effects on internal systems. By subjecting patients to various frequencies, healers harmonise cells, organs, and biological systems which may have been disrupted, blocked, or out of sync with the remainder of the body and its environment.

It is a treatment done with both passive and participatory experience.

Sound healing is done peacefully with your eyes closed while slowing your breath, which is the passive aspect of it. This enables you to become a receiver of sound by being more open and aware of the sounds that come in, which would be the participatory aspect of it.

Sound helps create the pathway to a beautiful place of stillness.

The fundamental principle underlying the theory of sound healing is that all matter vibrates at a specific frequency through which it can both influence and be influenced by all other matter.

Thus, everything on the planet and beyond can be considered interconnected through resonance..
